The Valley Community Development Council’s architect, Cliff Baehmer, took a beating at a previous public meeting about his design for a mixed use building at the corner of Holyoke Street and Pleasant Street at the former site of Northampton Lumber. Local architects and aesthetes and abutters went at the building’s deficiencies with great gusto. The temperature was a lot warmer on Monday night when he presented his revised plans at a public meeting held at the headquarters of Hampshire Educational Collaborative on Hawley Street.
